Dear Friends,

time is moving quickly these months, but we’ve started up with more writing again, as well as having deeper dives into Science and Cosmology, and working on the balance and harmony of the brain hemispheres - in the spirit of a Renaissance Age.

Main projects have been a group study and reading of Dante’s Inferno in July and August, and having a new deep look at the field of Astrophysics and the nature of Galaxies in September and October.

We’ve also organized the writings with three new substacks, “The Phoenix” is now the main blog with updates a few times a week, plus we have two new specialized substacks for Dante and for Cosmology.

The links are here:
burningphoenix.substack.com - Main blog
thesacredpoem.substack.com - Deeper writings about Dante
cosmologyscience.substack.com - Explorations into Cosmology and Science

And here are some recommended posts to get started!

The Cultural Weight of Einstein's Left Brain
Contrary to popular modern myths, the physicist Albert Einstein was not “bad at math” and needed help for the calculations that he had intuitions and intimations for, he was instead extraordinarily gifted from a young age and reached a University Level of Math with integrals and differential calculus by the age of 14. At the age of 16 he passed the “Mat…

Halton Arp, Margaret Burbidge - and the Connected Quasars
This classic documentary shows Halton Arp’s important discoveries and research on Quasars that still needs to be looked further into. Same with the po…

The Sacred Poem
The First Step of Personal and Cultural Transformation
After spending several Cantos in the mental preparation of the “Ante-Purgatory”, where slowness is a part of the nature of getting closer to a threshold point, the Pilgrim is suddenly transported up a part of the Mountain to where the real Gate of Purgatory is, in his sleep. And this is where the spark, the ignition, the life-changing moment can commenc…

And finally - for everyone interested in McGilchrist’s work - this 40 minute interview from a few weeks ago might be one of the best introductions and overviews to his overall thesis and how it applies to the strong changing currents of our times. Maybe especially the points about treatment of illnesses on both a personal and a cultural level. This clip is highly recommended:

The Phoenix
Necessary Steps for Insights and Change
There are some important psychological insights in this recent interview with psychiatrist Iain McGilchrist, regarding the need for an internal awereness in the Left Brain that something is wrong. This is the first necessary step towards improvement, both on the individual level if there is a left hemispheric imbalance and dominance in the psyche, but a…
